“Pheonix” – 11′ 6″ Old Town Sailing Dinghy – 1956 – SOLD
PHEONIX is a 1956 11′ 6″ Old Town centerboard sailing dinghy. She has been recently restored to a high standard by Rollin Thurlow of the Northwoods Canoe Company and has been very lightly used since then. PHEONIX has a traditional canvas sheathed hull and is bronze fastened. Bronze hardware is used throughout. Her sails are in excellent condition. She has lead plugs in both her centerboard and rudder. She will make an excellent lake boat. A pair of Shaw & Tenney oars are included.

This 11 1/2′ Monhegan Island Rowing and Sailing Skiff was built to the highest standards by the Carpenter’s Boatshop of Pemaquid, Maine in 2001. She has seen little use and will need only a fresh coat of paint and oil for the interior. Her sails barely appear to have been used. She comes with oars, and all rigging you will need to get out on the water. She is constructed of cedar planks over oak frame. She has a sprit rig. She is fastened with bronze wood screws and copper rivets. She tracks well and has a high load carrying capacity. She will make an excellent lake boat or tender.

11′ 6″ Herreshoff Columbia Dinghy – 2012 – $6,000
This beautiful Herreshoff designed Columbia Dinghy will be completed to the highest standards using all traditional methods this month at the Apprenticeshop in Rockland, Maine. It is available for oars only at $6,000, or with a sailing rig for $8,000.

Weight: Approx. 100 lbs (can be fitted with lifting eyes for davits)
Capacity: 3 adults, 2hp o/b
Construction: ¼ inch cedar planks over 1/2 inch white oak steam bent frames and a white oak backbone. Bronze and copper fastenings throughout.

This is a 10′ 6″ Puffin fiberglass sailing dinghy. She is in very good condition. She is missing her rudder/tiller but is otherwise complete with aluminum mast/boom, white dacron sails and daggerboard. The rudder/tiller is readily available from the manufacturer Frankfort Boatworks.
