“Patience” – 72′ Billings Diesel & Marine Passenger Excursion Vessel – 1982 – $239,000 Sale pending
Documentation Number: 646537
PATIENCE is a United States Coast Guard inspected excursion vessel built for a Hyannis, Massachusetts company in 1982. She is rated to carry 149 passengers. Built on the lines of a 19th century steam ferry, she is a replica of the Hy-Line motor vessel PRUDENCE built in Boothbay Harbor in 1911. PATIENCE is reminiscent of Maine coastal steamers of days gone by. She has two decks, an old-style pilot house and many traditional details including a fantail stern and an upright stem. Interior beading, moldings and paneling add to her historical flavor.
